How to FTP with Internet Explorer 6

Open Internet Explorere 6

  1. Type ftp://floridaphotosafari.com in the address bar (do not use ftp.floridaphotosafari.com): ftp address
  2. You may get a 'forbidden' notice, if you do close it.
  3. From the file menu select Login As:
    login as
  4. Type in or copy and paste from the email Tony sent you with your account information in the resulting dialog box:
    add userid/password
  5. You do not need to select the FTP directory because when the account was set up it would only allow you to post in the directory Tony assigned to you.successful login
  6. You should then be connected to the site and you can and drop to your local folder, or drag and drop from your local folder to the site.
  7. If you are copying file up that are already there you will get a waring such as I did when uploading some of the iages for this page.
